We are excited to share that our work is featured in the newly updated edition of Art & Sole - the definitive celebration of sneaker culture and creative collaboration.

Originally published in 2008, Art & Sole has been a go-to resource in our studio for years. Now fully revised for 2025, the new edition explores 17 years of sneaker evolution - with contributions from 40+ new artists, 400+ new images, a foreword by sustainability pioneer Nicole McLaughlin, and stunning cover art by Steph Morris.

Our contribution was a trio of conceptual sculptures reimagining Air Max icons through architecture & culture:

Air Max 1, Centre Pompidou tribute. Paying homage to one of Tinker Hatfield's principal references for the original 1987 design.

Air Max 90, Speaker stacks. nodding to its adoption by crate-diggers and being at raves and festivals since Hatfield's 1990 creation.

Air Max 95, Anatomical model. This references Sergio Lozano's radical anatomy-inspired design from 1995.

From these architectural interpretations to typography campaigns celebrating London's transport heritage, the book captures the incredible diversity and creativity that makes sneaker culture so compelling.
