Detroit Spotlight: Designing The Online Gallery Magazine Edition 11.
For the eleventh edition of The Online Gallery Magazine, Rosie Lee Creative collaborated with the publication to spotlight Detroit's dynamic art scene. Teaming up with the influential Library Street Collective, we co-curated an edition that highlights emerging talent and celebrates the city's rich artistic heritage. This issue features key figures such as Jason REVOK, Charles McGee, and local artists Allison Glenn, Tiff Massey, and Lakela Brown, all contributing to the narrative of Detroit’s evolving cultural landscape.
Our approach to Edition 11 was deeply inspired by the unique voices and perspectives of the featured artists. Working closely with Ché Morales, the magazine’s creative director, we ensured that the design reflected the personal and artistic journeys of contributors like Jason REVOK and Charles McGee. We crafted layouts that are bold, dynamic, and reflective of the artists' creative visions. By meticulously selecting color palettes, typography, and visual elements that resonated with themes of community, legacy, and authenticity, we created a visually engaging and cohesive issue that truly embodies the spirit and talent of Detroit’s artistic community.
