We’re pleased to reveal that we’ve teamed up with Nike France at this season’s Paris Fashion Week to create an experience that celebrates the achievements of women in both sports and fashion.
We opened with them the Nike Lounge, a venue that welcomed athletes and icons attending the event, giving them the chance to connect with each other and preview key lines from the brand’s forthcoming womenswear collections.
We designed six rooms in total, including the Nike Unlaced area, curated by ex-Colette founder Sarah Andelman and seen above, which deconstructed period French furniture to create a footwear display, future/past, which contrasted sports memorabilia from famous moments in women’s sport, including Cathy Freeman’s iconic Swift Suit, with new designs created by Virgil Abloh for athletes to wear in his catwalk show, and a basement showcasing new collections by Yoon Ambush and Martine Rose.
This was combined with a multi-room 3D sculpture which showed exploded football pitch markings in pastel colours across the venue’s ceiling.
Catering was provided by Alix Lacloche and art pieces from Sabine Marcelis, Hilda Hellström and Maria Forlev were used.
