In August Rosie Lee were asked to help activate Nike’s Unlimited Shanghai campaign, taking over the cityscape on launch night with a convoy of branded vehicles and large-scale visual installations.
Alongside Nike’s brand team and production companies Wispark and Bringidea, we developed a series of activations that exploited the size of the city to showcase their products on a grand scale. To celebrate the event’s opening, we lit up Pudong’s skyline in the campaign’s colours and organised a fleet of custom Nike-liveried trucks and sports cars that travelled through Shanghai – the mobility of our production, in comparison to traditionally static installations, permitted us to bring the Nike Unlimited experience closer to consumers than ever before.
Over the event’s two-week duration, our creative and digital teams also designed and implemented Nike Basketball and Nike Running Club product showroom areas around Shanghai that allowed for a seamless retail experience at Nike Unlimited zones.
