As one of the world’s foremost athletic events, the London Marathon attracts both runners and fans from across the world. To celebrate this year’s race, we collaborated with Nike Running to design a marathon-themed apparel collection that was stocked in the city’s Niketown store.
Our long history of involvement with running and crew culture – developing, for instance, the visual identity for Run Dem Crew – allowed us to tap into the vibrant and creative culture that has developed around the scene.
The designs play on the close relationship that exists between London’s runners and the city itself, using wordplay and making reference to specific locales in order to create unique and engaging RUN LDN graphics.
